The book of Luke has “faith” as a major theme. It identifies faith, defines faith, encourages faith, commends faith, and nurtures faith. Some form of the word faith is found over 12 times in its 24 chapters, an average of every other chapter (50 percent of the book). Luke’s gospel account is an inspired, systematic, deliberate, prophetic and historic verification of the Messiah-ship of Jesus Christ, encouraging us to have faith in Him. It presents carefully researched evidence—historic, prophetic, and miraculous—for the purpose of persuading us all to grow in Jesus, and go with Jesus by faith. Join author, pastor and international speaker James Rafferty on this journey through the book of Luke and its focus on faith.
