Beginning in January 2007, David began recording, in partnership with Pan de Vida, an audio commentary on the quarterly Sabbath School Lessons. These audio commentaries have been heard by thousands, and are a weekly blessing to subscribers, Sabbath School teachers, participants, and Bible students of every stripe.
Now, beginning in January 2012, David is teaming up with Ty Gibson to “team teach” the 2012 Sabbath School year. The first quarter’s audio commentary, titled Glimpses of Our God, takes an in-depth look at God’s nature and character. When David and Ty saw the first quarter’s topic and title, they couldn’t wait to dive in! And how did it go, this first “team teaching” lesson? Here’s what David had to say: “It went better, far better, than we expected, and we had really high expectations. The energy, the interaction, the content were all fantastic. Really enjoyed, and was reminded of some of the true principles of Sabbath keeping, the only day that God, made special enough to give it a name, not just a number, as He did for the first six! Insidently, this is the subject of which I wrote my term paper on when I was a student at Weimar College.
